This project was about creating an image of perfectionism. I wanted to capture the tension and axiety of perfectionism, where this character is just pulling him face, his hair, grinding his teeth. Hes just in total freak out mode over the crack in the ceiling, and hes blowing it way out of proportion.

This is my final animation in After Effects for 2nd year. I had totally forgotten about it! Its a scene from a radio play about rats swarming a lighthouse. I chose the scene where the people in the lighthouse look through the telescope and see that the approaching ship is filled with rats.

studies from a taxidermy museum in italy. the museum was fascinating, room after room filled with stuffed exotic animals, inside each room was a specific collection. i spent most of my time with the monkeys. i love monkey faces, they are so expressive.
